🔻 { Connecting to Communicate } 🔻 conversation with Jefferson State Community College student Jamie, who took my ENG 102 class this past spring. She has improved greatly in my class, especially in her writing. To watch her grow under my instruction has been both humbling and invigorating. Listening to her enthusiastic responses made me appreciate teaching poetry even more; I originally did not feel excited about having to teach poetry.
