《 a f t e r 》 | TED❌Birmingham 2018: I extended the message of my TEDx talk at HLAA 2018 Convention in Minneapolis. By using my teaching stance, I presented three keypoints through writing prompts as a demonstration for the attendees to understand how my pedagogical content knowledge (teaching method) fosters strong student-instructor interaction. I shared my teaching experience in a way for attendees to apply in their own everyday lives. However before I could start presenting, I was approached by two individuals. They chose my session because of their respective higher education backgrounds. Because of these two, I changed my presentation a bit while speaking to include some information they wanted me to cover. I am glad to have this last-minute experience, because now I can see how to prepare for such unexpected moments surrounding future speaking engagements. Plus, these two individuals and also few others have asked if I am interested in coming to their higher ed institutions (located in Oregon, California, and North Carolina) to speak and share my experiences. We will see how things go. I am happy to discern how I can help others.
